The Fondation Jacques Rougerie renews its partnership with the University of Costa Rica

At the University of Costa Rica, Jose Carlo Bolaños Padilla, Junior Ambassador of the Fondation Jacques Rougerie - Académie des beaux-arts, led an inspiring masterclass for students and professors of architecture. On this occasion, he officially presented the UNOC Special Prize, awarded by the Fondation during the United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice.

This distinction recognized the remarkable work of 150 architecture students who developed projects for the city of Puntarenas, threatened by marine submersion by 2075. During UNOC in Nice, the Fondation also had the honor of meeting Rodrigo Chaves, President of the Republic of Costa Rica, co-organizer of the Conference, who strongly commended the Fondation's support as well as the exemplary commitment of Costa Rican youth and their professors.

Building on this dynamic, and for the second consecutive year, the Fondation will continue its collaboration with the University of Costa Rica to share its vision of a sustainable, resilient, and bio-inspired architecture. Jose Carlo Bolaños Padilla fully embodies the spirit of the Fondation's international network of Junior Ambassadors, active in more than one hundred countries and serving as spokespersons for its values worldwide.
