Jacques Rougerie hosted, at the Académie des beaux-arts within the Palais de l’Institut de France, the directors of the French National Schools of Architecture (ENSA) for a meeting dedicated to future cooperation between the Foundation and architecture schools.

On this occasion, a partnership was signed with the Association of ENSA Directors, marking a new phase of collaboration. This framework aims to establish long-term relationships with school leadership, faculty, and students, to share the Foundation’s philosophy and strengthen the visibility of the International Architecture and Innovation Competition within academic institutions.

Alongside Jacques Rougerie, Carlos Moreno, Director of the Scientific Council, and Amine Lehna, Director of International Development, presented the Foundation’s initiatives, its global reach across five continents, and its support programs for young architects committed to designing sustainable and desirable living environments.

The discussions highlighted the Foundation’s key priorities: flood-prone territories, rising sea levels, biomimicry, marine and space environments, and more broadly the need to rethink present and future living environments by combining arts, sciences, and technologies in connection with nature.

Through this collaboration, the Foundation aims to strengthen its ties with architecture schools to foster new academic, pedagogical, and creative dynamics, in support of an architecture that addresses the challenges of the 21st century.

The Foundation warmly thanks Raphaël Labrunye, Director of ENSA Normandie and President of the Association of ENSA Directors, for his commitment in organizing this meeting, as well as all the directors present for the quality of the discussions and their engagement.
