At the Green Shift Festival 2026 in Monaco, organized by the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco, the Foundation’s Junior Ambassadors were highlighted during a dedicated conference presenting their projects developed within the International Architecture and Innovation Competition. The event took place in the presence of Albert II of Monaco, before an engaged audience attentive to the contemporary challenges of coastal territories and living environments.
Presented on the quays of the Yacht Club de Monaco, these projects showcased concrete responses to current environmental challenges. The project SEDNA, led by Marine Tacquet and Constance Fromentin, explores housing solutions in polar regions in connection with Inuit communities. The project by Manon Drouillard proposes adapting existing structures in the village of l’Herbe to address rising sea levels, offering a sustainable alternative to demolition. Finally, Karéa, developed by Maïwenn Le Roux and Kévin Banse, imagines a system to collect and valorize sargassum in Caribbean territories, transforming an environmental constraint into a resource.
In parallel, the Junior Ambassadors also spoke at the Lycée Charles III, alongside Jacques Rougerie, to present their projects and engage directly with students. This moment of transmission allowed them to share their journeys and raise awareness among younger audiences about global climate challenges and the role of architecture in shaping future living environments.
Their presence and work were also covered by Monaco Info, reflecting the strong interest generated by these initiatives.
Through these projects, the Foundation continues its commitment to supporting, across five continents, a new generation of creators dedicated to designing architectural solutions aligned with environmental and territorial realities.
