At the Académie des beaux-arts, beneath the Dome of the Palais de l’Institut de France, Laurent Petitgirard, Permanent Secretary of the Académie des beaux-arts, Gérard Spinelli, Mayor of Beausoleil, and Jacques Rougerie signed a partnership agreement between the Foundation and the City of Beausoleil.

This partnership reflects a shared ambition: to make Beausoleil a place of awareness, transmission, and experimentation for younger generations around the major themes championed by the Foundation, including flood-prone territories, the sea, and space.

Several key areas of cooperation have been defined. The agreement notably includes hosting laureates of the Foundation’s architecture and art prizes through artistic residencies, developing educational and cultural initiatives around “La Ligne Bleue,” and organizing conferences, exhibitions, and public events dedicated to raising awareness about the transformation of contemporary living environments.

Through this collaboration, the Foundation reaffirms its commitment to an architecture attentive to environmental and territorial challenges, in continuity with the Mediterranean dynamics initiated around UNOC-3 and the Blue Economy Forum in Monaco. In a region particularly exposed to coastal transformations and the effects of climate change, this initiative also highlights the essential role of public action in supporting transitions and adapting territories.

The Foundation warmly thanks Gérard Spinelli and the City of Beausoleil, Laurent Petitgirard, as well as Marc Barani, architect and academician, Maÿlis Salivas, Estelle Hoareau, Celine Tavares, and Natacha Zadeh Amadio for their presence and commitment to this new dynamic of territorial cooperation.
